Tickets are available on line, telephone reservations for individual guests are not made except for organized groups of more than 10 people. Useful information :
- Visitors should stock up on water before their arrival as there is no cafeteria on site.

Evening public tours take place Wednesday, Friday and Saturday as follow:

-  The tours include a visit at the museum of Geoastrophysics  and -weather permitting- a night observation.  Evening public tours are provided to adults and children over the age of six.
-  Tour duration: ~70 min
-  Arrival time: 15 minutes before the start of the tour
-  Ticket price: 5,00 € (common price for adults/children)

  • Important notes:
    -Τhere is no cafeteria on the premises of the Thission Visitor's Center. So the visitors should stock up on water before their arrival  at the site.
    -Smoking and possession/consumption of alcoholic beverages are not permitted in any area (indoor or outdoor) of the National Observatory.
    -Visitors are only allowed to enter during the scheduled public night tours of the Thission Visitor Center.

Venue: The meeting point is in front of the main entrance of the National Observatory of Athens. : https://maps.app.goo.gl/EJecXBt3pSs9z8JR8
Access by foot: In order to visit the Thissio Visitor Center of the National Observatory of Athens by public transport, you can use the Athens Subway  (Thissio or Monastiraki station) and following the route: Apostolou Pavlou -> Pnykos -> Demetriou Aiginiti, you will find yourself at the top of  the Hill of the Nymphs. You are also able to use the Acropolis Metro station but in this case you have to follow the route: Dionisiou Areopagitou -> Pnykos -> Demetriou Aiginiti.
Access by car: The Thissio Visitor Center has limited open parking space without charge or reservation. Entrance is via the streets : Nileos -> Apostolou Pavlou (a small section of it, as a low-trafic road) -> Pnykos -> Demetriou Aiginiti.
