Artist: “Asterismyth”
On Thursday, June 12th, at the historic site of the National Observatory of Athens in Thissio, a unique evening of music, poetry, constellations, and mythical heroes from ancient Greek mythology will take place.The music ensemble “Asterismyth”, performing original compositions by pianist and composer Stefanos Kozanis, will present the twelve works from the album “Asterismyth – Music About the Constellations and Mythical Figures”. Each piece tells the story of a constellation and the mythical character associated with it: Perseus meets Pegasus, Andromeda, and Cassiopeia, while eight more constellations await to be discovered through melodies, narratives, and song.
The group’s music blends elements of jazz, classical, and Greek traditional music, creating a sophisticated yet dreamlike soundscape enriched with poetry and narration.

• Katerina Konstantinou – vocals, lyrics, recitation
• Dimitris Margaritis – violin, poetry
• Stefanos Kozanis – piano, composition
• Kostas Patsiotis – double bass
• Nikos Sidirokastritis – drums
