Development & Network Operations Department<\/h2>\n

I. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n

\nThe Development & Network Operations Department is the central technical unit of the EEA for the design, development, and secure operation of building, electromechanical, and network infrastructure.\n<\/p>\n

\nIt is responsible for technical studies, project supervision, the architecture and security of data and voice networks, as well as the operation of the Center’s central computing systems and IT services.\n<\/p>\n

\nThe Department supports the Institutes and all EEA services with critical technical infrastructure, high-availability systems, and technical guidance, ensuring reliability, speed, and data protection.\n<\/p>\n

Key responsibilities include:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Technical & network infrastructure:<\/strong> Design, development, and upgrade of infrastructure.\n
  • Technical studies & projects:<\/strong> Drafting technical specifications and supervising projects and installations.\n
  • Networks & central systems:<\/strong> Architecture, security, and operation of data\/voice networks and central systems.\n
  • IT services:<\/strong> Management of identities, accounts, naming, website hosting, and files.\n
  • Data centers & data security:<\/strong> Support for storage, backup solutions, and data protection.\n
  • Computerization & network infrastructure:<\/strong> Support for administrative functions and collaboration on physical network infrastructure.\n
  • Library & knowledge:<\/strong> Library operation, research documentation, and strategic planning support.\n<\/ul>\n
