Summary |
The goal of this proposal is to investigate the evolution of SF using tracers from the radio and X-ray bands and carefully selected samples. To this purpose, we plan to investigate the different selection criteria which may be applied to select and distinguish star forming galaxies and AGN in multi-wavelength surveys. The outcomes will be compared, the reliability of the method will be assessed, and the properties ( luminosity function, redshift evolution) of each population will be estimated. It is expected that the two populations will partly overlap: this subset will be of particular importance to study the SF-AGN connection. |
