Researchers Night 2014
The Kick off meeting of ALTER project takes place in the premises of ΝΟΑ (Athens, Thission, Sina Building) on Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th of February 2018. The Alliance for Risk Reduction (ALTER) project focuses on establishing Public - Private Sector partnerships to achieve disaster risk reduction in the area of floods caused by Dams' failure. Know how, technologies and experience from European Union will be transferred to Armenia through well planned activities. Project's duration is 24 months and is co-financed by the DG Humanitarian Aid & Civil Protection Directorate".
The Partners are: Institute of Geodynamics (Lead Partner), European University of Cyprus, Center for National Security and Defense Research (Bulgaria) and from Armenia the American University of Armenia and the National Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction.
