The central premises of the National Observatory of Athens are situated on top of Lofos Nymphon (Nymphs' Hill) at Thissio.
Nymphs' Hill borders with Philopapou Hill and is opposite to the Acropolis and the Athenian Agora.

In order to visit N.O.A.'s central premises you can use the following means of transportation :
Metro
Metro's nearest station to N.O.A. is Thissio. After arriving there, Nymphs' Hill is only ten minutes away, on foot.

There is a parking area at N.O.A. premises
( see P on the above map ).
You can enter from 'Pnykos' street or 'Otryneon' street, but only part of the
'Apostolou Pavlou' street is opened
for cars ( from A to B on the above map ).

Penteli's Astronomical Station is situated on 'Lofos Koufou' at 'Palaia Penteli' , betwenn 'I.Metaxa' and 'Vasileos Pavlou'
streets.

Metro & Bus
You can take the bus with number 446 "MAROUSI - PALAIA PENTELI" from 'Plateia Amaroussiou'
near the Marousi Metro Station of the LINE 1 "PIREUS - KIFISIA". The closest bus station to Penteli's
Astronomical Station (five minutes on foot) is 'Penteli Square'.
